Hi, I’m Charles Mountford (DJ CMount) — your professional mobile DJ, MC, and audiovisual productions artist. At the end of 2024, I decided to launch my own business to focus on customized DJ & immersive lighting experiences. Weddings are my specialty, and I'm excited to bring quality lightshows for bands / live musicians, side stages & music festivals across the Midwest! With 21+ years of experience across weddings, radio, clubs, music festivals, and even Burning Man events, I bring technical precision and heartfelt care to every performance. During our initial consultation, I’ll take time to get to know you — your story, your vibe, your dream for the big day. For couples, I coach them through planning a celebration that feels uniquely theirs: the perfect soundtrack, lighting that sets the mood, and a flow that keeps everyone smiling and dancing all night. Beyond the booth, volunteering and supporting charity have been close to my heart and a part of my life for over 25 years. In this spirit, a portion of proceeds from gigs goes to support charity. Clients can request a specific charity, and I can give the charity a shout out on the microphone if they wish. I volunteer & donate to a no-kill cat rescue, Tenth Life. That same spirit of care and compassion guides how I treat every couple: with love, attention, and the drive to make your wedding as magical as it deserves to be. During first dances, lights are programmed to stay above the newlyweds’ heads so as to not ruin photos. Random colored dots from low-end DJs’ lightshows don’t belong on a gorgeous wedding dress / snazzy tux!
This builds on the copper package to really wow your guests with a lightshow to really dazzle your guests with larger venues!

Our ultra short throw video projection system supports both front and rear projection, and due to its short throw distance, it can squeeze into spaces impossible for many projectors.

True compressor-driven haze machine that creates much smaller droplets for a very fine mist. This results an effect for superior pictures, as it doesn’t obscure the view as much as fog machines, and it’s much less likely to set off smoke alarms.
*Disclaimer: I cannot guarantee it won’t set off some smoke alarms at high density. Many venues don’t permit fog or haze machines, but the worst offenders for setting off alarms are heater-driven fog / “phase” machines.
